The Biogas Power Association is a non-profit organization that provides in part the operational knowledge and support through community sharing to assist biogas utilization companies to maximize capacity and efficiency of their renewable energy projects; and in so doing enhance profits while creating a safer, cleaner environment.

The Biogas Power Association (formerly known as the Caterpillar 3520 Biogas User Group, catbgug.com) is made up of professionals from around the country including Owners, Engineers, Technicians, Environmental Consultants, Managers and Operators who are the best at what they do, and are willing to offer the expertise to help make a significant difference in the biogas industry.

It is the goal of The Biogas Power Association (BGPA) to increase operational efficiency through the latest technology and maximize operational capacity of renewable energy projects through partner co-op’s and the sharing of industry knowledge. Through the culmination of these acts, the BGPA gains the support and garners the respect of equipment manufacturers, vendors, and biogas utilization developers.
